Embroiderers Guild Strathendrick Branch

Embroiderers’ Guild Strathendrick Branch

Do you enjoy sewing?

The Strathendrick Branch of the Embroiderers Guild would love to meet you.

You don’t need to be an expert embroiderer - we are a friendly group who like to sew in good company and so organise workshops and stitching sessions in Killearn Church Hall.

Our meetings start about 10.30 am with a cuppa and chat. Some members bring their own sewing to do, others get involved in group projects.

In the afternoon , which starts at 1.45pm, we often have a visiting speaker, though we occasionally arrange workshops where you can learn new techniques. We have an extensive library of craft books that members may borrow.

You can come to any of our branch meetings as a visitor. We’ll ask you to contribute towards expenses, £4 for a full day or £3 for a half day which may include a speaker or workshop session. Or you may decide to join and take advantage of the benefits that come from being part of a national organisation with a local branch.
