Killearn Kirk Organist


 

Robin Versteeg began his appointment as Killearn Kirk Organist in September 2009.

 

Robin was born and brought up in Edinburgh, studying at the University of Edinburgh and as a postgraduate at the Royal Academy of Music in London. A regular pianist for instrumentalists, singers and ensembles, he is working this season with organisations such as NYCOS, Scottish Opera Education, Tayside Opera and Music in Hospitals Scotland. As a conductor Robin is currently the musical director of Cunninghame Choir and Eastwood Choral Society, while he also enjoys writing programme notes, essays and website material for orchestras.

 

Robin is delighted to have been appointed organist and musician at Killearn Kirk. He would love to hear from anyone interested in singing in a choir, and from instrumentalists keen to make a musical contribution to services – individually or in groups. Contact him at: organist@killearnkirk.org.uk
